Over the past two years, myself and Independent TD Stephen Donnelly have met with Stakeholders and Chief Executives of high-tech SMEs.

Last week, I met with Len Lauer, CEO Memjet, and ex COO Qualcomm. He feels that Greystones’ location near Dublin and Universities makes it extremely attractive to Tech companies. They can hire and retain highly qualified staff in the area. He was also hugely positive about the quality of life the area offers to young families. He complimented the local environment and outdoor activities that make Greystones a very attractive place for potential employees to settle down.

The response from both the industry and the community proves that the innovation campus would be a huge asset to Greystones. It would bring jobs and much needed public green space to the area. I believe it would be an excellent resource for the community.
